   It was eye-opening to have someone claiming to support Kamala Harris respond to my thread of postings yesterday about this topic call me a liar.

     I agree with Jonathan Weiler, and this is one reason I have shared some of the valuable commentary I'm reading about the failure of the DNC to permit a Palestinian-American voice to give public witness:

     "I understand that many Democrats, desperate to see Trump defeated in November, a feeling I obviously share, just want the issue of Gaza and of Palestinian suffering to go away, at least until the election is over."
