     All jokes aside, it's a valuable form of harm reduction.

     If Elon loses a billion dollars, it doesn't matter. There's nothing that he could do before, that he can't do now. 🤷🏿♂️

     But if one of his sycophants is $100,000 poorer because they bought a useless truck, or one of his fashy bankers is in the hole a few hundred mill because they financed his horrible Twitter takeover... well then now they have less resources to do other harm.
