Seeing UK news stories about banning "zombie-style knives and machetes."
I think this is bad reporting. It implies that all machetes are being banned, which is not true, only zombie-style ones.
Its should read "zombie-style knives and zombie-style machetes."
Which is how it is described on the gov.uk website, along with a link to a document with a flow chart that tells you if your knife is banned or not.
Picky? I think not, as it changes the meaning.
