   According to Pippa Crerar (Guardian) Gavin Williamson will pick up £16,876 in severance pay for lasting exactly TWO weeks in government (plus £2,589 in gross pay).

   As it's the third time he's been sacked/ forced to quit govt, presumably he's done quite nicely out of taxpayer.

   That’s over £1k a day for every day in post on top of his actual ministerial pay. £19,465 in total. £1,390 a day plus his MP’s salary

   And for doing what? F*** all.

     Williamson has resigned, 2 weeks into the rôle .

     And here, Anne Milton, ex Chief Whip who worked with Williamson, goes on Channel 4 and blows the whistle on his pleasure in salacious gossip about MPs’ sexual preferences. She also tells of the time the Conservative party helped out an MP in financial trouble. When Williamson handed over the cheque (it was not for a large amount” he said to Anne Milton “tell him I now own him”.
