I feel the same, especially about public transportation. We need more all over North America.
Dems have been working to create more opportunities for supporting and greening the public transportation industry in the US.

US gas prices are a pittance compared to Canadian prices. I don't know why Americans complain.

@Snowshadow It’s been like that my whole life. When I used to go to Canada more often, it was about 4 times higher in Canada (and other countries in Europe, etc, too.)
I’d prefer we had better public transportation as that’s only gone downhill because of the right and we’re also working on expanding greener energy options, but I’m glad if regular people can afford to drive to work or to a movie or whatever.

American exceptionalism or something is why we are so wont to complain despite how good we have it I suppose. That's a dissertation I'll not be writing though.
As to energy prices, I noticed that CNN's Jake Tapper "called out" VP Harris for not having a more thoroughly fleshed out set of policy positions for him to critique yet he hasn't criticized Trump's promise to lower energy prices by 50% his first year back in office.
That would cause instant recession or worse.
