   Seriously, Chinese drama schedules are so batshit crazy. You don't know when a drama will premiere till the very day it airs, sometimes. Apparently #GoEast was highly, highly anticipated due to the wild popularity Tan Jianci enjoyed from Lost You Forever, and he's playing a comedic role.

     @liztai I often wonder how much historical accuracy (as in the setting, etc.) these series hold. Or it doesn't matter that much?

     @remoquete Dramas like these here don't aim for accuracy as it's considered a fantasy, so the empire is fictional. But dramas like Longest Day of Chang'an do. True historicals are rare these days, though you can see some in movies such Zhang Yi Mou's recent Full River Red.

     @liztai Interesting! The closest Italian fiction set in a fantasy medieval age was Fantaghirò https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13031912/

     Then, of course, you have the various high fantasy series. I guess they're not really comparable though.
