   @deviantollam @chaz @astrid I learned to use T568B but I'll mimic whatever the data cabling guy did. It seems like gigabit has to have auto mdi/mdi-x because it uses all four pairs and only two of them are crossed over in a crossover cable anyway. I wonder if it works if you swap the blue and brown pair?

     @MrDOS I was taught to use T568B when I took "Cisco Networking Academy" classes. 🤷

     @ryanc I was under the impression that the general consensus was to use “A” unless you had a specific requirement for “B” compatibility, but I'm not sure where I got that from.
