    "The Israeli high court ruled that the army's long-standing practice of using Palestinian civilians as human shields is illegal under international law."

    This is not a ruling from 2024, it's a ruling from 2005.

    Israel (Still) uses Palestinian human shields because they never stopped. It's past time the US Govt and the international community stopped funding these war crimes. Enough.

      Israeli Army (Still) Uses Palestinians as Human Shields
      from Qasim Rashid
      Contrary to claims that these are isolated incidents, the facts show that the Israeli military has a "long-standing practice" of using human shields

      @66gardeners

      Netanyahu is a brutal terrorist in a war of terrorists. Hamas and Netanyahu are perfect for eachother while civilians die under their leadership.

      Further, peace will always be elusive as long as the Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund exists.

        Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund
        The Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund are two funds operated by the Palestinian Authority (PA). The Foundation for the Care of the Families of Martyrs pays monthly cash stipends to the families of Palestinians killed, injured, or imprisoned while carrying out violence against Israel. The Prisoners Fund makes disbursements to Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli jails. In 2016, the PA paid out about NIS 1.1 billion (US$303 million) in stipends and other benefits. Critics often call the fund "pay for slay" and blame the payments for encouraging terrorism. In 2007, the World Bank argued that the fund did "not seem justified from a welfare or fiscal perspective." By 2014, mounting criticism of the payments led to the PA transferring management of the Martyrs Fund to the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), which now disburses the government-funding to recipients and their families. History Fatah established the Palestine Mujahidin and Martyrs Fund in 1964 to recompense the families of dead and wounded Palestinian fedayeen militants. In 1971 it was replaced by the Society...

      @kattenpoet

      The PA fund, established in 1964, has employed Palestinians to hunt and kill Israelis since 1964.

      If someone is attacking you for 60 years, you have a right to fight back.

      What is #weird is that through all of the fighting, the population around Israel has mushroomed from 700,000 in 1948 to 7,000,000 today.

      @RememberUsAlways

      That's wierd. What's a PA-fond got to do with IDF soldier's actions? Are they remote controlled?

      And how does the growth of a population justify the killing, torture and deplacement of it's people?

      I'm just going to leave this here for reference to 60 years of human shields as employees.

      But sure, try to use your platform to spread a false narrative like #Genocide when the population of the area surrounding #Israel has mushroomed from 700,000 in 1948 to 7,000,000 today.
