Hello friends. I am hoping this final night of Dem Convention will be a big night for the Mastodon For Harris fundraiser. To that end, I thought it might be fun to do some matching. I will start by matching the first $500 worth of contributions starting at 5:30 pm Central (when the main session will be gaveled in). That plot suggests that the current momentum is very low, with contributions near saturation (based on the logistic curve shape of it all). That suggests to me that there needs to be some significant event or change to the current state of the fundraising landscape to accelerate giving again, certainly if we want to coast on momentum into November
