   I have a friend whose husband passed away suddenly and can't find the password to get into his computer.
   Do you know have any suggestions?
   She doesn't want to take it to a business because she is afraid someone will read personal information and use it for fraudulent reasons.

     but i seriously advise trying to convince her to take it to a professional. i wouldn't still be in business if i snooped around every client's computer. i also wouldn't have time for that. techs *don't* snoop around -- it's bad for business.
