Someone I know just had to undergo a series of rabies shots (bitten by a skunk). Glad they got that taken care of immediately -- once you have signs of rabies, it's too late. You'll die a horrible, painful death as the disease destroys your body. Raccoons and bats are particularly dangerous vectors in California. #rabies
