     @Evil_Bender @jobanab I think the whole "no modern facilities" thing is weird. We have machining equipment all over this country from the 50s+ which works without issue. They have stuff in freaking india that is the same level which they use to produce car engine parts, which means it is dialed in enough to do that.
     
     The AK47 is good if you are maybe in the frozen tundra of 1950 where there hasn't been 50 years of people putting lathes all over the land.

     If I were to be dropped anywhere in the world with a rifle and had no access to any modern facilities it would be an AK47. I own an ar15 only bc in North America it's the most commonly found rifle and rifle cartridge in both civilian and military hands. Meaning when SHTF they're will be parts and ammo available from your local ZOG troops
