I'm not a protestant, I don't get the side jab though if faith in Christ is all that matters.

@tyler I think it's because there is a lot of sniping back and forth about what denomination is to blame for supporting abortion. You can find some accounts on xitter and fall down a very deep rabbit hole. It would be fun but there is a lot of poor philosophy and bad misreading of the bible in near bad faith that makes it not so fun.

It's wild. I've met Lutherans that were libshits and also ones that are trad like you might expect. These days I don't think denomination really means anything anymore.

@pepsi_man @tyler @lks if your family has been protestant for 300 years, I feel like becoming orthodox is like the advice to "move one exit down the road" - a bad idea.
If orthrodoxy speaks to you, sure, but I think fighting for what your family has had for hundreds of years is important.

@tyler @sickburnbro Missouri Synod are usually pretty conservative, ELCA are usually fags or fag lovers.

Bet, but I hope you get my point.
I don't say I'm part of any denomination anymore for the sole reason that what the "good" denominations believe are so varied it might as well just be a bunch of independent churches anyway.
I was in the new ifb for a little while and even there, an inconsistency with what was preached/what was done, especially around brotherly love.
Maybe I'm just jaded.

@lks @pepsi_man @tyler There is a point to give up yes, but to me this doesn't feel like people that have put in a struggle. It feels like people that have just realized that there is a problem and are looking for the easiest way to set things on coast again.

@sickburnbro @pepsi_man @tyler Sometimes one has to brush the dust off your shoes and move on.
I felt the sting of having hundreds of years of family participation burned to the ground by jewish trained faggot "leaders". I mean, they actually mocked that to my face, publicly, in an annual meeting.

I would agree, but I was raised southern Baptist, and I think at this point, the cons outweigh the pros.
All the little churches are dead or dying. No one has babies. The theology is wonky.
There needs to be a rebirth before someone starts yet another heretical cult like the SDA or the modern methodist church.
