I'm a former entertainment journalist, and I loved what I did. But when people argue that the press should have unbridled freedom to report whatever they want, I look at the cases like Lee Sun-kyun and now Suga. I don't know him, but apologising to the media for falling off a scooter is all kinds of ridiculous.
I do not think the press will ever learn, whether it be in Korea or elsewhere. Gossip and clickbait is far too profitable.
