   @civodul On the other hand, it will also bring some relief to some of us. From the deep feeling of guilt and self-doubt I experience whenever someone advertises this product because I'm the one having to find a reason not to use it, this is the time when I can finally switch to the oh-so-much-more-comfortable "I told you so".

     The mess that #Anaconda’s new licensing fees is poised to create in academia should be a wake-up call.

     From an #OpenScience perspective, and from the perspective of publicly-funded research, it makes no sense to trade autonomy for perceived convenience.

     Time to look at commercial offerings suspiciously and to focus on building our commons.
