Sometimes I just get really, really mad at my partner's parents for being bad fucking parents.

He and his dad are close now & his mom passed away, but like...

They sucked. As parents.

They didn't want to put in the kind of effort it takes to care for and nurture a child.

And that sucks. I'm mad about it.

I know there are loads of bad parents in the world, but I will never understand it. It doesn't make any goddamn sense to act like that.
