   OK devs, this semantic thing has been bothering me for a while:

   What is the difference between updating and upgrading requirements?

   I've used these words interchangeably, but maybe that's not right.

   I guess upgrading increases the version levels and updating changes the package list.

   Not that it matters in daily life; I'm just curious.

     @mahryekuh I think of them like major (upgrade) vs. minor/bugfix (update) semver. An upgrade is bigger and might contain backwards-incompatible changes, or maybe in terms of software, might require configuration changes.
