   Just noticed my Twit-X account has haemorrhaged another 300-400 followers in the past few days. This is in addition to a further 1000 or so in the past few months. Another exodus underway?

     @Concretism Yes, Masto seems the safer option, although BSky's imitation of Masto's decentralised format might hold off some of the nonsense that befell Twitter

     @Richard_Littler @Concretism the issue with that is that the decentralization isn't a thing yet.

     They let you have your own PDS, but if it doesn't send that information to BlueSky, it goes nowhere. Theres no other servers running ATProto that isn't connected to BlueSky as well.

     @Richard_Littler I've lost about 30 followers in the last week which is about ten percent, and not normal for me.

     My Twitter follower count plateaued about a year or so ago after rising steadily for years.

     Now I'm done with the platform to be honest. I prefer Mastodon as I think Bluesky will be prone to the same problems of big tech.
