     totally agree to that sharepic, but totally disagree the hashtag 'religionispoison'. Projecting the emotional abuse, that was debated here on all religious groups or individuals ignores those people, who cared for other peoples wellbeing of fought for suppressed groups freedom motivated by their religion.

     @jakob_thoboell @schenklklopfer -- LMAO! I am EXTREMELY educated in ALL religions of the world. Religion is Poison. This isn't a slogan, but decades of detailed study.
     The real question is why you want to hold onto your religion so badly, when it is anathema to the world you claim to want to see?
     You have taken your religion as your identity, like a political affiliation. This is why you're butthurt. The proof is in your choice of Mastodon instance.

     Man, broaden your knowledge on the existing religious groups , their beliefs and their relation to science and ethics.
     Antitheism is a hateful ideology similar to religious findamentalists.

     I am climate scientist. I am doing youth education on climate justice. I am workers- Union-member and engaged in transformation topics. And yes: i am active in some parts of Christian church. But who are you, to tell me, which of this is my identity?

     I am part of a church that finances SAR in mediteranean Sea. a church that gives a save place to queer people, that accomodates climate activst groups and a lot more. And that tries to fight fundamentalist radical groups

     But again, people do all these things without any religion nor a church.
     ALL religion tell falsehoods and all religion uses intimidation and force to protect those falsehoods.

     Your simplification, mixing up all groups within religions, negates the existence of religious groups, that want to be part of a better world for everyone. Negates religious motivated Activists like M.L. King. Negates religious people who where killed for beeing part of resistance in the Nazi-Germany.
     I don't want to be religion's defender again and again, but I want discussions on a higher level of Detail.

     Your claim that the church is necessary is a lie. The claim that the church is a good motivation (seriously, damnation is not a good motivation and threat of damnation to do good is not a good look for your argument) as a counter to the lying and bad impacts on the world show me how indoctrinated you are.
     You're butthurt because your religion is your identity.

     Some people do that for different motivations. Religion is one of these Motivations. might be unnecessary in some point (at least to others) but even beeing unnecessary is not a proof for beeing poisonous.
     I am mototivated to listen to more of this toxic replies, so I will mute this discussion, at least for today.
