  Strict abortion bans in 22 states are causing doctors to refuse care to women who need it, resulting in near-death experiences and permanent bodily harm. Abortion is a medical procedure that women should be entitled to get for any reason. Nobody should be forced to carry out pregnancy or forced into childbirth, ever, period. But now, this is not about wanting pregnancy or not. This is not even about wanting “choice” or not. These abortion bans mean that every single person of reproductive age with a uterus is at risk.
