Armored Core VI Alea Iacta Est ending made me realize there is something worse than tokenization of minorities under corporate capitalism and that is tokenization of minorities under interstellar fascism: a world in which meaning production is coercively constrained to brutality, struggle, and tribalism, but also multicultural participation in such things is lauded. It's a very samsaric ending and I want to write about that but also wow, what a remorselessly hopeless universe.
