We now have a neighborhood rooster. Roosters aren’t allowed, so the going theory is that someone just let theirs free rather than deal with that fact. Anyway, it wanders around, and nothing has eaten it yet.

  I dunno if cougars eat roosters, but dogs will certainly go after one, and we have plenty of loose dogs.
