   Despite my excitement and joy over the Harris-Walz ticket and campaign, I still am struck by waves of nervousness over the US presidential election and its aftermath. Between rank and file voters entranced by Trump, racism and misogyny, and the big money interests backing Trump, nothing about this election is a sure thing. 1/

     My own antidote to nervousness: do at least one thing to contribute to the success of Harris-Walz AND to the success of Democratic candidates up and down the ballot, state and federal. It is also why I connect with folks on here who are engaged with other efforts for a blue wave. Building community is a great antidote to fear. 2/
