   Lack of quote post functionality on here is increasingly a drag. Feels like it’s on the roadmap but never any closer to being a reality. To me, it’s missing basic functionality for this kind of platform and a reason why Mastodon isn’t more appealing to folks who want an alternative to X but don’t view the Fediverse as a religion.

     @AnnemarieBridy admittedly that was a big part of the reason I quickly felt more comfortable at Bluesky. It's amazing how frequently I want to use quote tweet, not to dunk on people, but to enable broader discussions.
