@moth_ball dude I know did MA Social Studies, found no job, did an education as Youth Therapist, found no job, now studies psychology in order to find no job later because the amount of available slots for therapists are extremely crowded :Sheew:

@kaia That's weird, I figured therapists would have plenty of wörk available. Or is it one of those "I don't want to leave the place where everyone wants to be" type of situations? Or is it more of a GER issue?

@moth_ball @kaia my outsider opinion is that the market is probably oversaturated and skewed due to mental health apps being such a big thing now. Like better help. I could be way off but I know they have loads of therapists, and locally in my area there's an insane amount of therapists.

@thegreatape @moth_ball
it's a GER issue since seats payed by healthy insurance are limited. and since they are disinclined to add more seats and thus higher costs, no new seats will be added. there are 32,000 therapists with such a seat in Germany for 84,552,242 people, so 2600 people on one therapist. compare the count of medical doctors in Germany, 416,120.
