   @dcz yes, but it's also possible that the instance has blocked fosstodon for whatever reason, which has that exact result.

   Shadowbanning would put a notice on their profile and hide their posts from public timelines, but the profile should show the posts.

     Does #Mastodon do shadow banning? There's an account that I want to follow but #Fosstodon doesn't show any recent updates from it.
