     @teto no its not really the stability thing, i've never had a problem with that, it's more that if linux automatically updated the kernel for me [aka COMPILING IT] i would be a bit more than upset if i was doing something on it

     @kirby well since I am a stable-chad I just have a cronjob that starts an update script for everything twice a day and I dont have to worry about it breaking anything

     @teto tbf i hate it when windows nags me to update after it silently downloads an update in the background, at least i can wait 600 hours at my own will with gentoo

     @kirby well being on gentoo is kind of asking for... headaches too. Compiling annoys me even when it's automated
