#SCOTUS says #ContentModeration is #speech

Writing for the majority, Justice #Kagan said #SocialMedia sites engage in expression of their own when they curate & #moderate posts, making that activity eligible for #FirstAmendment protection. That’s true even if they allow most posts & restrict only a few categories of content. And it’s true regardless of whether they take posts down manually or use #algorithms.
