     @adachi @arcana this attitude should even be applied to dildos. I wouldnt buy a random dildo. it'd probably have poor injection molding which would leave lines on the sides, the rubber would be toxic, the grip wouldn't be very comfortable, it wouldn't give you as much pleasure as a properly engineered dildo. there's technologies and methods that need to be followed when manufacturing stuff that have been around for decades and when a new company shows up they completely disregard that, most chinese stuff is bad because of this, they don't have the built up knowledge to be considerate, and they also don't care. but there's also chinese companies that have been around in the business for a long time that still follow those standards. I usually buy second hand old stuff because changes in the world have lead to stuff being low quality in general, and also because it's more affordable but honestly I'm just wary of it sucking on account of being new, old stuff has been tried and tested. shame you can't buy second hand dildos

     @adachi @arcana like I get surprised when something new is high quality and not chinesium bullshit, and especially when there's some model of something that is still in production but interest in it peaked in the past I wonder if the manufacturing standard has declined to cut costs or it's still the same method.
