   I think the light bulb with bluetooth speaker would make more sense if it had a flash storage or sd card slot so it could automatically play something when you turn it on. You could have it play some ambiance sound in your garage or something.
   
   But since it's only bluetooth you gotta connect your phone or whatever every time you turn it on and manually play something. Nobody's gonna keep doing that.

     @lamp sounds like its a light alarm. like it has a bulb you can use to light the room, with a speaker for fm or bluetooth, and alarm functions. i could see that being the case. someone might use that for music in their bedroom.
     
     for a garage i don't know then. i could see the same thing, i guess, just buying another multi-function for the garage. although in the case of a garage haver they probably just get one of those suitcase speakers and wheel it around or hook up a hifi in there.
