     For anyone who *actually* lives in Texas and, after reading this thread, still has the will to vote:

     If you are registered to vote, but your address has changed, you can update your registration online. It costs nothing. You'll need your ID, your VUID and your social security number. There's a form to fill out, and you'll get a receipt:
