     @feld @akko I think you're understating it.
     
     The redesign is a woman that is older and has a body shape that isn't just built for male sex appeal. Honestly if you're going to genderbend a character and try to break out of cliches I think this is a great job.
     
     I don't care if stuff like this is done as long as you don't fuck with decades-old canon.

     @feld @akko I read a bit about the new character and she's impressive. I have to reserve judgment for when I actually see the show but it would be cool to have examples of how to do this "right" because it basically is never done right which is a huge factor in people's complaints. You can never please everyone but at least do an artistically good job.
