     @fbievan@alpha.polymaths.social @xepher@mementomori.social @BeAware@social.beaware.live @bob@beamship.mpaq.org Some apps (mostly on iOS iirc) check what kind of software the instance is running, so even if yours implements the Mastodon API they still won't let you log in.
     
     On Android the PWA experience is good enough that I stopped using apps a while back, so there's that.
