   It's quite strange to me that a *lot* of people seemingly just want to have a single entity or company in charge.

   We have SO many good projects and platforms here on the Fediverse, yet we're on the fast track to losing decentralization because people can't refrain from referring to it as "Mastodon".

   We're pretty damn close to just becoming another Twitter here with how much control Mastodon Gmbh has over how you interact with Fedi and it's getting worse and worse every day.

   That is worrying.😔

     I'm trying, but it's hard to make progress without help!
