   It's just the common phenomenon of people showing off on social media.

   Like how people post photos of their holiday in Greece, but not of themselves having just woken up with a swollen face and lines under the eyes.

   I've contemplated writing an introduction but decided it's mostly cringe.

     I thought I was pretty well educated and cultured before I started before I started reading the #introduction hashtag.

     Everyone is writing stuff like:

     "I'm the CEO of a multinational firm studying my seventh PhD in the quantum mechanics of blackholes. On the weekend I write operas and run marathons - which is difficult given the weight of my massive brain"
