   Have you already tried the new distros from https://getaurora.dev ?
   They are easier to manage as fleets than lubuntu because of rpm-ostree.
   I have been pleased with both KDE and Gnome flavors.

     For 5 years the local school has been struggling with chromebooks when they have a bunch of unused 2014 era windows 7 workstations in an attic. I'm switching these over to lubuntu to act as class workstations and expect them to be more popular than the chromebooks because they're actually usable.
