     I'd use Brave over Edge or Chrome any day. Chrome (proper) is a cancer. People use it even when they know it's there to siphon data for Google. I don't get it

     @hj@shigusegubu.club @mangeurdenuage@shitposter.world Chromium makes sense though because I imagine you can customize it to be more privacy-oriented than Chrome(?).
     
     Firefox out of the box is awful. It looks like it's siphoning your data more than Chrome with all the sponsored crap they've put into it. I still use it as my primary browser, but I've changed the settings to how I like

     @nav @mangeurdenuage i don't know, it doesn't really have all that much google shit but I think it still uses GCM (google cloud manure) for notifications and such, to the point where ungoogled-chromium fork (used to, dunno if they ever fixed it when it) crashes when anything even attempted to use WebPush API (PleromaFE)
     
     Firefox on the other hand... IDK how to put it, the software just gets worse, the focus becomes more of politics and garbage functions and the CEO gets mmm........ :morshu: richer.
