   Trump's rallies in 2020 concerned me. I understood why the Biden campaign was not doing rallies, but I also understood that the rallies were driving out voters for Trump. The attendees were finding community, and that sense of community was both energizing them and pushing others to join in.

   Trump's 2024 rallies have not had the same energy. People are staying home. And Vance? His campaign appearances are not rallies, and the attendance at the campaign stops is very small.

   Elie Mystal notes, "As Trump loses ground and hides on his golf courses, you can see the entire GOP apparatus slowly pushing JD Vance out front… in perfect position to be pushed under the bus when the time comes."

   And it will only get worse. The Harris-Walz rallies are quickly becoming a place of community.
