Rep. Cori Bush of #Missouri, a #progressive #Democrat and critic of the #Gaza war, lost in the primary against her challenger Wesley Bell, who was supported by pro-#Israel AIPAC.

It was one of the most expensive House races in U.S. history -- and "nasty," according to Bell.

According to DropSiteNews.com, leaked audio indicated Bell told Bush last year:

“And I’m telling you right now, I’m telling you on my word: I am not running against you. That is not happening.”
