   First day of high school for the kids. New principal. Apparently they want to enforce a dress code tighter than the county direction, are taking g away phones (buy not providing lockers or security), and requiring an app to use the bathroom.

   The app is bullshit in about 6 ways, but the fact is kids have to install this on their own hardware that will be confiscated if it is used during class time, but have to present it to go to the bathroom.

   I'm gonna have a time with this bs

     @Possiblydrew it's not fun with all the drama. Schedules git switched, kids can't get the classes they signed up for (real impact to college).

     Add to this my 13 yo daughter who is no stranger to selling her struggles and this is gonna be a rough few weeks/months.

     @ATLeagle an app to use the bathroom I cannot comprehend. There’s got to be some other purpose.

     But I’m really sorry to hear the struggles. The classes changing has got to be frustrating on all accounts.

     @Possiblydrew it's a timer. If you need to go to the bathroom, the teacher approves 7 minutes. You have to be back on time. Anyone sees you in the hall you present it as a pass. The fact that the bathrooms may be locked and kids will need to wander across campus means nothing to them.

     I've tried to teach my kids not to make my rebellious mistakes, but I may need to teach them some new tricks

     @graemek ya. I was pissed before, but it wasn't as mandatory. It's complete nonsense.

     They want to put apps on phones, they can supply phones

     @PopeASDF I asked my son to pee in the hallway. It's the only way to make it back in time.
