     @ins0mniak @j The only time I have ever lost data with Frantech was when I forgot to pay the bill for a storage slab. (But they do, like...the *second* that goes over-due, they completely wipe it and sell it to someone else. It's not like with VMs.)

     @p @j @ins0mniak i had great service with fran anywhere but las vegas and miami. constant outages for over a year in both locations drove me to move my stuff off his hardware. he's a good guy but i can get the same no nonsense from crunchbits now and i can call the owner a nigger on the phone if i want

     i've had issues with lv+mia myself. but i send a ticket and usually things right themselves. i recently tried crunchbits as well, so far so good. we'll see how it plays out
     
     @ins0mniak did you get this all fixed up? definitely setup backups if you're concerned. five minutes with a cron job and an encryption key can negate the tale of woe. let me know if you need a hand.
