iced depresso (icedquinn@blob.cat)'s status on Sunday, 04-Aug-2024 16:49:02 JST iced depresso kind of wary to recommend a lav mic in to a behringer uca in to a pc. mostly because i don't have the uca.
in theory it should be one of the cheapest ways to get decent sound, though it needs a 3.5mm to rca adapter on the input side. some audio folk seem to really like the UCA's
though its approximately the same cost to just buy a razer seiren.
the nice thing about the lav setup is that its also pretty much the smollest audio rig possible as the entire thing fits in the smallest pelican case lol-

iced depresso (icedquinn@blob.cat)'s status on Sunday, 04-Aug-2024 16:52:36 JST iced depresso down side is the lav is kind of woozy about rejecting the sound from your speakers. as is the seiren. lav+headphones is kind of stupid, although the sound from lavs is very good these days and i dunno about the gamer headphones. i wouldn't really recommend those anymore but who knows, i see a lot of people still usin em.
or, well, i see a lot of streamer wearing gamer headphones with the mic retracted because they're using the sm7b instead of the folding mic lmao
ah, hell, who cares. not like i'm actually doing audio technician work for a gang of poors :ablobcatbongogoogly: -

iced depresso (icedquinn@blob.cat)'s status on Sunday, 04-Aug-2024 16:54:03 JST iced depresso admittedly KSC clips, worn loosely, are probably the cheapest and best sounding comf foons. ksc75s are like what, 30$? :cirno_for_reals: -

Sir Nedwood (ned@noauthority.social)'s status on Sunday, 04-Aug-2024 18:39:03 JST Sir Nedwood @icedquinn rode used to have a USB-C dongle for 3.5mm lapel input. It was designed for phones but should work in a pc.
iced depresso likes this.
