While they make perfect sense for sensitive topics, less obvious is how much this sort of thing is also good for reducing cognitive load. And it might seem a small thing but I've already noticed thr difference a pause before looking at something makes for me. Living with #ADHD means constantly managing your filters and inputs all the time, so if is exhausting, and small things like this CW feature really do seem help! And that just means on some level it's better for everyone else too.

It's a a simple stoke of genius and needs to be embraced more. I love it, and what it says about the culture here. It is both personal and considerate. Like a post-it note of care wrapped around your parcel of thought. Here, you can open this thing I have to share if you have spoons for it, otherwise no biggie! And if you open it, because you decided you wanted to, then it is a little gift for you because you wanted to see inside!
