   turns out "dsi enhanced" games are region locked... only when playing on dsi. you can put them in a regular ds or 3ds and they'll play on any region. Really dumb.

     @neko @Tsuki i wonder what state my original o3ds would be in rn had i not have the top screen snap off.. that happened with 2 other consoles after that

     my dsi is my favorite for ds games but I need to replace the L button and install cfw it seems if I want to play pokemon BW in Japanese. Maybe I'll just use the 3ds

     @Tsuki LMAO like 1 day ago i broke my L button on my old 3ds while cleaning it. Theres homebrew to remap it though but i might buy a replacement (thankfully l
     no games really require the L button).
     
     I have an old Phat DS and I love the buttons but the screen is dogshit and my battery is awful and the stylus feels like a toothpick, but the 3ds just has so many more fun games and Animal Crossing
