     @mima this is a bit of a bold opinion to have but I think we left the "fediverse is just a fun underground social network" around that time too, hasn't felt the same since then and I was only there for a few months of the last part of that lol

     @kirby@lab.nyanide.com I agree. My Masto from 2021-2022 feels more closer to my short time in diaspora* in like 2017 or 2018. It felt like a fun niche experiment even though I haven't gotten much friends back then
