   Someone just randomly emailed me and the other (unlike me, active) Linux arch/sh maintainers proposing we rm -rf arch/sh so we can do free labor for other things on the kernel instead.

   How does someone get it in their mind that this makes any sense at all???! 🤦

     @dalias funny really funny because the sh backend in GCC recently has been helping find latent bugs. I just pushed a fix for one today (https://gcc.gnu.org/r15-2700 ).

     interesting. someone recently called for GCC developments for SH. I suppose there may be an ongoing struggle to fix or drop it.
