   @LinaAsahi And use hashtags! A lot of them to describe your posts in detail. They are the only way how to search the whole Fediverse. That's our new "algorithm". ? And in Mastodon 4.0 it will even be possible to follow hashtags in the same way as users.

     @lina oh that will help a TON for me. RN I use Tusky to have hashtag "timeline" I can fill with tags I wanna follow, but having that in my home feed would be MUCH better.

     Also would like an actually messaging backend like XMPP for DMs instead of the weird private toots

     @rogueren Yeah, DMs are kind of sketchy right now here... I hope they come up with a better solution!
