     @samsethi @chrismessina unfortunately, they're not true replies.

     1. It has to be a reply to a post already existing on Threads.

     2. It can only mention 1 user. Mentioning more than one causes the post to not show on Threads.

     3. Replies can only be seen by the user that was mentioned.

     As you can see, it's pretty underwhelming and leaves everything to be desired.

     The most concerning thing is that they didn't disclose these limitations when they announced replies...🤦♂️😒

     @chrismessina this is great news now for meta to allow me to share images from my Rayban sunglasses to threads like I can insta, fb or WhatsApp and then I can federate from my sunglasses.
