Great week for AMD – don’t care what the stock price says right now.
Not only did they have a great quarter, their two main rivals got some bad news that only makes things better for AMD.
Progressive lawmakers want the DOJ to investigate Nvidia for antitrust violations. This benefits AMD because Nvidia will need to tread lightly while AMD can continue to be aggressive on the A.I. front.
But then let’s look at the CPU front. Intel is really screwing up. Not only are their CPUs falling behind AMD, there’s been failures to their 13th and 14th gen CPUs – and the damage is permanent. This has triggered a class action lawsuit.
Adding insult to injury. Intel is cutting 15% of its workforce, and suspending its dividend.
