   In local news, I'm Black and I love AAVE. I love the dialect I grew up with. I love the way Black folx in LA say things.

   I think "I wish a MF would" is inspired
   Or that "y'all be easy" can be a farewell or an insult.
   I like the way we use -ass as an adverb similar to very
   I like that we've reclaimed 'nigga' as a term of endearment.

   There's a dozen different examples I can give, but I like AAVE and I like learning the 'etymology' of our words too,

   Like 'wretched' becoming 'ratchet.'

     @NaClKnight I love the use of "be" to represent a long-term state. "She be trippin'" tells me that, not only is she trippin' right now, but this is just her normal state of existence - she does this all the time.

     Feels like "y'all" - one of those words that English just should have naturally, but had to be reverse engineered into the language purely for usefulness.
